Community Events
Life flies when you're having fun!
Community is at the heart of Vintage Township. This special neighborhood places its focus on its people and how to gather all facets of community together into one, true neighborhood experience. Some examples:
- Spontaneous block parties and picnics in the park create a fun and relaxed atmosphere for neighbors to better know one another.
- Special interest groups within the neighborhood, like a bridge club, toddler play group or fishing club, encourage interaction.
Our Vintage Institute helps facilitate the planning and implementing of a wide variety of programs and community events throughout the year for the entire family to enjoy.
No matter your age or level of involvement, there's a place for you here.

Texas Football Fun in the Park!
Each year Tech travels either to College Station to take on the Aggies or down to Austin to fight it out with the Long Horns. The game's always heated - just like the burgers as we cook out in the park and watch the big game on the big screen. Oh, wear your favorite team's jersey and try it out in the pick-up tag football game that's sure to begin during half time.

It's all treats at Vintage Township!
Talk about fun! Each October 31, 2006, Vintage Township partners with Turning Point Church for this evening event. Children from all over the city come dressed up and trick-or-treat to all of the homes and then visit a huge tent filled with fun booths and games such as face painting and pie throwing (Mom, aren't you excited?). Of course, there is lots and lots of candy to give away!

Weekend Winter Wonderland at Vintage Township!
Vintage Winter Wonderland-- "A Place like No Other." Every weekend during the month of December come out to Vintage Township to experience the magic of Christmas. There is truly something for everyone to enjoy. We provide miniature-pony carriage rides, beautiful Christmas displays in the park (with a 30' Christmas tree), hot cocoa and fresh baked cookies, sparkling lights everywhere, live entertainment nightly and, of course, Santa Claus! It even snows nightly! If you missed last year's festivities-- well, this year's Winter Wonderland is set to be even more spectacular.
